Set Up
Open three browser windows besides this one and have them all open to this page (just copy and paste the address at the top of this page into the other browser address bars and click Go). For each window, click on a link below (First window you would click on the Eliv Thade solver link, second window you would click on one of the other anagram solvers, third window you would click on a different anagram solver than the one you clicked previously). Shrink the three anagram solver windows and then adjust them so you can see them when you play Eliv Thade (it's easier than having to minimize and maximize all the time).
How To Use This Page
First thing you do is try the normal anagram solvers. If your word is not there then type the anagram into the Eliv Thade solver to see if it is there. If your word is not on the solver and you weren't able to find it in the normal anagram solvers either then please neomail the correct word to helper47 when you get the correct word so we can add it to the database. Please try not to neomail scrambled words. Mailing the answer words only is just fine. Thank you and good luck!

How is the game scored?
Answer
You get 1 point for every 4 letter word; 2 points for every 5 letter word; 5 points for every 6 letter word; and 10 points for every 7 letter word. You get 50 points for getting an item from one of the rooms. You'll get a 200 point bonus for getting the "crypt" word correct, and another 150 point bonus for winning the game. This last bonus you won't see until after you send the score! If you send the score after losing all 3 lives instead of winning, you do not get either bonus. (Obviously. :P)

Question
I've heard there are 2 secret paths. Where are they located?
Answer
The first one is close to where you start, it is a shortcut to the bedroom. Go 1 space left from where you start, and then go up. Hover the mouse over the area until it turns into a hand, this is where the path is.
The second path is a shortcut to the crypt. It begins at the cracked piece below the Library. You can skip the cracked piece by going over it, to the next square, then backtracking to the path. Again, hover the mouse pointer until it turns into a hand.

Question
How did those on the high score table get such a high score?
Answer
Play through the game, but DO NOT go to the crypt for the last word. Instead, go back and forth over the same couple of spaces, solving 7 letter words, until you have only 1 life left, or are bored and want to quit. THEN go and solve the final word. Try to pick a couple of spaces near the end, so if you get down to 1 life, you can end the game without having to go over any spaces and lose your last life instead of win.

I sent you a word/some words to put in the database, but noticed it wasn't/not all of them were added! Why not?
Answer
I do not add every single word in the game because the other solvers may already have them. THIS solver is for Eliv Thade only. It is to be used alongside solvers like Zach's (my current favorite), or Andy's. If I find the word has only 1 answer in Zach's or Andy's the word should not appear in this solver. The database doesn't need to be cluttered up with answers you can easily find on Andy's. I ONLY add those words that: are Neopets items, made up by the game programmers, words that are slang/common usage, movie/TV show words, non English words, Neopets user/pet names, some proper names (first and last), two words stuck together as one word, and internet slang; but mostly only those that aren't in any anagram solvers yet, or multiple answer anagrams that have been confirmed to be in the game dictionary.
Update: the basic guidelines for acceptance have been updated to clarify, in cases of confusion, which words will or will not be accepted. These rules mainly apply to normal words and proper names.
1.Zach's solver is the firm FIRST solver to use.
2.Andy's solver is the firm 2ND solver (use on Massive English dictionary and 1 word)
3.Other solvers; the word can show up in 2 of them, it will still be accepted.
4.Proper name rules- If in Zach's as only possible word and in Andy's under the "English with proper nouns" option, then it will be rejected.
If Zach's lists it along with list of other normal words, but is in Andy's under the name option only it will be accepted.
5.Normal ("normal" here is defined as "one word, non Neopets only word") words: IF in EITHER Zach's or Andy's as only possible answer it will be rejected.
6.Since Andy's (with "limit each solution to _ words") and Zach's only do one word answers, two word answers will be accepted, even if they show up in another solver that gives multiple word solutions.

I heard there is a word you can type into the word box to get an extra hint. Can you use it without fear of getting frozen for cheating?

Yes! I have been informed that the Neopets magazine actually has it listed as a "hidden gem", SO you CAN use this! Type "rehaxtint" into the box where you type the answer,erase it, then click on the letter hint, and you'll get another letter hint! (Can only be used ONCE per game.)

I want that avatar! How high should my score be before I can go into the crypt and solve the final word?

To be on the safe side, try having about 850 points 900 points(several users have complained I incorrectly totaled the final bonuses, what happened is Neo seems to have pulled one last bonus they used to give, and no longer give it, so the score totals should be fine now. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THE TOTALS ARE NOT RIGHT!) BEFORE entering the crypt. If you win, and get the last 2 bonuses (crypt and final), you should have 1,200 points, enough for the avatar. The VERY last bonus you will NOT see until AFTER you send the score. It will not look like you have enough points, but you will. The event of getting the avatar will come up in a new, small screen. User docallens clarifies the exact bonuses for us: 150 for solving the 8 letter anagram, 50 point bonus at the end, and 100 point bonus for sending score. 350 total 300 total. (There! Fixed.) You will always get the same bonus no matter what score you have.

I'm so TIRED of manually typing in the answers in that box. Is there ANY way I can copy the word from a solver and just PASTE it into the box?

YES! After playing for awhile, I stumbled onto how to make the "paste" option available on the right click mouse menu.(Normally you get the "cut, copy, paste" menu all grayed out because there are no options available in that menu for flash games). When you get an answer for the anagram you are working on, highlight it and either hit Ctrl + C (Copy) or right click on the highlighted word and choose "copy"; then go back to your game. Click inside the box used to enter your word, and right click the mouse button (OR just hit Ctrl + V to paste). ONE OF THE ONLY OPTIONS NOT GRAYED OUT SHOULD BE PASTE. (The other one is "select all".) Paste the word, and hit the button! Repeat for the whole game, if you wish. The only time you should NOT do it is if you had to use a letter hint and there is/are one or more letters in the box already.
(NOTE:The Wordsmith anagram solver gives you all unscrambled words in all capital letters. You can't paste the word they give you into the Thade box; it seems the game allows NO caps in the words. All letters MUST be in LOWER case. You will have to manually type in any words from the Wordsmith anagram solver.)
And before you go yelling at me for being "lazy", I use it to save time when I am playing for words for this solver. I know other people might have various disabilities (like MS or Carpal Tunnel Syndrome) that may make it difficult to keep typing words out. This is a handy little tip to save the fingers some pain, and everyone else some frustration when they get a word wrong only because they mistyped it (Oh, HOW many times I've done that I can't remember!).

If you're so good and play this all the time, how come I don't see your name on the high score table for the game every month, and when you are, you're not in 1st place?

Well, you see, I DON'T always play for a high score every month. Truth is, sometimes I get very bored solving all those anagrams. (After hours of seeing scrambled words, I get a scrambled brain too! :P) A good high scoring game takes me a few hours. I already have a gold trophy from Eliv Thade, so do not need to play for that. :) Some days and months I simply do not play for a high score, but only play for NPs and words. Besides, it's not really fair to those on the table if my name is up there every month, now is it?

Do you have any tips on how to get a trophy (preferably GOLD)?

Well, I can't guarantee you'll get a trophy by using these tips and the anagram solvers. You can TRY to get a trophy; I wish you all the luck in the world on getting one. :)
General high score table/trophy info (ALL flash games):
Best time to try for a flash game trophy is at the beginning of the month, when the high score tables are reset. All flash game trophies/NP awards are given out via an automatic script. about 4:40 AM NST (Neopian Standard Time).(Note: As of March 2007, they have begun to award trophies/NPs starting at 12:50 AM NST). As of April 2007, the trophy/NP award script seems to be running about 11:50 PM NST each night.
As of the end of Daylight Savings Time, 2007, they now award the trophies/NPs at 10:50 PM NST.
IF several of the high scores on the table are tied, the usernames of the scorers are listed in reverse alphabetical order (never mind that..Neo changed it again, not sure of the exact way they are now listing the usernames for tied scores).
Many, many thanks to the Neopets user ontongil, who has informed me that as of the February '07 high score reset, they list tied high scores in the order of who sends in the score first!
Slots 1-3= 1st place trophy (Get 750 NPs daily until end of month). Slots 4-8= 2nd place trophy. (Get 500 NPs daily until end of month.) Slots 9-17= 3rd place trophy. (Get 250 NPs daily until end of month.) Slots 18-100= No trophies or NPs awarded for these places.
Eliv Thade table (specific tips):
There's a few different ways to try to get a good enough score to get a trophy. You can open and begin to play the game on the last day of the preceding month; leave the window open when you're done, and not SEND the score until the day changes into the 1st of the next month.
Neo changed it so that this no longer seems to work; they seem to block score sending about 11:45 PM each night and open it back up a few minutes after midnight. (Note if 1st day is on a weekend: IF the score is sent and reviewed the score will not be posted on the table until the following Monday or non holiday workday). Then send a little bit before the trophies are awarded. (This will work IF you have a high score, and you check the table first to see what the scores are at that time, and you have a high enough score to get on the table.) If you cannot play on the first of the month, list the scores on the table when you begin to play, and try to aim for a spot. Play until you get a high enough score to get where you want to be, and end the game and send the score near 10:50 PM NST (if possible; if not, just send the score and hope that you will be able to stay in that spot). You can do this IF you are good at the game and know it well. Good luck!

Important note: The game does NOT accept ANY capital letters at all, they all must be in LOWER CASE. Also noted is the problem that sometimes if you cut/copy and paste, there may be a blank space at the beginning or end of the word, and this is also NOT accepted by the game. So before you submit the word, look it over and change any capitalized letters to lower case, and then place the cursor at the start of the word and move it forward, taking note of any spaces and removing them.

Starry was kind enough to actually code a REAL working anagram solver like the ones at other places online, but this one is only for Eliv Thade. It includes all the current words on the master list of words you could search through on this guide. No more long list of words stretching out the page to infinity!! YAYY!!:D
