This game is very physically draining over long periods of time, so my tips are specifically designed to get you the avatar with a lot less pain than I went through.
There are 15 levels in all, but you only need to beat 11 to get the avatar. DO NOT WORRY ABOUT THE BONUS POINTS. If you're the nervous type, I suggest letting the time run out at the beginning of the level so you can concentrate on keeping the mouse steady. The bonus points are helpful (especially if you're going for the high scores list), but are not necessary for obtaining the avatar. It's easier to slog through level 11 than it is to rush through earlier levels to try and finish sooner.
Other than going extremely slowly around every bend, corner, and curve, I suggest using a good mousepad. Most of my attempts at this avatar were without one, but I got the avatar on my first slow attempt WITH a mousepad. The mousepad helps stop your mouse from accidentally drifting if you remove your hand. I very highly recommend doing this during the longer and more challenging rounds. Your hand will get extremely tired if you don't rest it occasionally, so try to center your mouse on a straightaway when you can and take a few moments to rest (or however long you need).
There are certain spots that I had to be especially careful in, but they might differ from person to person. Corners bothered me more than curves, although there were a few curves here and there that threw me.
I highly recommend turning up the brightness of your monitor (but not unreasonably so) after level 2 to make seeing the path over the Techo's face slightly easier.
Determination and a lack of distractions are a requirement. While I found it much easier to play with the game maximized, I suggest NOT hitting F11 to make the window even larger because there are a couple of levels that require you to carefully drag the loop by that area.
I hope that these tips help you get one of the most annoying avatars on the site!

These tips can help get that elusive Techo - Buzzer avatar a tiny bit closer to your list.
- Tip One:
Play the screen in Large mode. This makes it easier to trace the line.
- Tip Two:
Minimizing all other windows makes it easy to concentrate on the game itself. It is also handy to sign off your Instant Messaging service, or put yourself as busy, as a sudden movement can put you off.
- Tip Three:
Ultimately, it is easiest to play with an optical, wireless mouse. But if you don't have this option, make sure there is plenty of space for you to maneuver your mouse around. Keeping the mouse's wire free from the area is also recommended.
Please Note: These secrets seem to no longer work, as when you right click, it sets the bonus clock back to 30, same with following the line.
- Secret One: (No longer works 100% of the time.) Click on the Green start button. Then, without moving from the Green button, click on the right button of your mouse. A white option menu with Settings... (etc) should pop up. Left Click slightly outside of the white option menu. You now have a white Mouse pointer to lead you around the wire.
- Secret Two: Using secret one *or not* it is possible, if you are careful, to follow the wire's shadow! Through every stage, the shadow *which is a pale tan colour underneath the wire* is the same design, that same squiggle. It is possible to complete the circuit using the shadow.
