Welcome to my Snow Wars 2 Guide, I decided to make one of my own because I can, so let's get right to it shall we? This game for some reason makes many computers lag...A LOT, so once opening the game window, I advise you to close any excessive programs that really don't need to be opened, or at least minimizing other windows. The Snowmen The size of the game window doesn't really matter, but when starting out the game, you should check out the position of your snowmen. If they are too close to the sides, like in the images below, you should restart the game.
See how the one snowman is too close to the edge? You don't really want a snowman too close to the edge, because it will be harder later during the game to put a wall around the snowman, since the shapes do get bigger and harder to place in the gaps that enemy catapults create. The snowmen should be within the red area below.
It's okay if the snowmen are a little out of the red area, but the point is that if the snowmen are too close to any of the four sides, the game will get more difficult in the future. Note: You cannot create snow walls on the frozen river. The Pieces You can rotate the pieces in your game. If you press the space bar, you'll be able to rotate them, and they will fit better in the gaps. It can also help out when building the wall when you rotate the pieces, as it will build your wall much faster. It's really best to build a square wall around your snowmen, rather then box them in individulally. It's a little faster, and you can fit more catapults.
The bigger the wall is though, the more points you get, so if you can make the boxes bigger then the one I have above, go for it =P The Catapults Now for the places of the catapults. I try to put my catapults around 1 snowman, because later on in the game, you might have to box one off to survive.
Try and keep your catapults in an orderly line, as it's a lot easier then having them all over the place, and it will be easier to build your walls around them. Attacking
After building the walls and catapults, you'll have to start attacking the oppenents. You should always go after the opposing person's catapults first (circled in red), that way you have less of a wall to build up. Then, if you still have time, go after the lupes (circled in blue.) When going after the lupes your might want to click a little bit in front of them, since they are continually moving forward most of the time.
Rebuilding After this, you'll be able to repair your wall again, since there will be a few gaps. Once you build the walls again, I advise you to build an inner wall, look below for an example.
Later on in the game, you'll be able to make the inner wall bigger, which I advise you to do, because then it will be harder for the lupes to get in and melt your snowmen, and even if they do, they'll only melt the first 2 snowmen, and you'll have extra protection for your other snowmen. Bigger wall:
Also, take a look at the catapults: I never put more then 3 rows of catapults, because they cause the game to lag even more. If you'd like to pure more, go ahead, but I strongly advise it that you don't make more then about 20 catapults, because later in the game, the more your computer will lag, the harder it will be to destroy the opposing catapults. Also, later on in the game after destroying the opposing team's catapults, you'll want to go after the lupes that are CLOSEST to your wall, so that way they don't go in and melt your snowmen. They're easier to hit anyways XD For my last tidbit of advice, you should try to isolate one snowman if needed. Just build a snow wall around them, so that way if all your walls get demolished, and you can't fix them because the game is giving you the pieces that are the hardest to place, you'll still have one snowman to the rescue and then you can try rebuilding your wall next turn. So that's about it, if you think I should add something, or if you have any questions feel free to neomail me at xoxomountaindewxoxo! Looking for more guides to Snow Wars II?
