Sept. 13th
Default Avatars: You'll notice default avatars have been added to the Preferences for you to select as your active avatar on Neopets. There is also a NeoBoard Statistics page that shows the most popularly used avatars on the NeoBoards based on the data you (the visitors) submit as your active avatar.
Server Swaps: I may or may not be moving servers in the next few days to help solve out the bandwidth issue. Because of this, the site may go down and be unaccessible for a period of time. If you can't access AvatarLog, this is why =)
Sept. 12th
Fweeness :D Custom lists now show up on your profile. *dies* That took a nice two and half hours to tweak and program. Enjoy folks ;3
Hosting: On another note, I've been offered to be hosted on several sites to help out with the bandwidth usage, etc. Although Neopets does not allow paid banners on websites, a clause in their TAC does allow a banner for free hosts (and I'd be hosted for free on the several sites who have offered) ;) So an interesting loophole.
What I really want to know is: would you (the visitors) still visit/use the site if it had a banner of some sort on top or on bottom? Please feel free to leave your comments and thoughts on the Tagboard :)
My original intentions was to keep it as ad-free as possible, but I never thought it'd grow this big o_o I also owe it to my possible host-ers to help them out with their server costs, as they would be hosting this site. My primary concern about moving servers (aside from the ads/banners that may be implemented) is that I'd like AvatarLog to remain as avatar.starried.net. I don't want to be shunted into people saying "Oh, so-and-so's site has a neat avatar checklist section"; I want people to know AvatarLog as here and not some part of another site... Difficult eh? :P Thanks for all the support so far though, hope you guys are finding this site useful ;)

MORE custom lists! :D You can now have up to five custom lists per person (enough for "Goals", "My Favorite Avatars", "Avatars I Use", "Avatars I May Never Get" and "Random Avatars I will put on this list because it's fun to click". Or whatever five lists you might want). This feature might still be buggy, so please let me know if you run into any problems! These lists will be added into your profiles soon.
Sept. 10th:
Bandwidth: Okay. In the last eight days, I've used about 3.5 gigabytes of transfer, and I get 10 GB per month for this website. At the rate we're going, I'm going to run out before my bandwidth resets at the beginning of the next month. Considering options: a) I let the bandwidth run out, and the site shuts down when all 10gigs are used up ._. b) I get a job (can you be employed at 16?) and buy more bandwidth =O But that means I spend more time bagging grocery bags or something, and less time adding new features/fixing bugs on this site c) I close up open registration and start a referral system to limit users: Only someone given a referral code by an existing user can sign up d) access to this site is restricted to certain days/hours/blah. So basically, none of them seem too fun o_O Got ideas or want to say something above an above choice? Let me know on the Comment Board :D
Impossible Lists: If you have down yourself as having every single avatar (which is rather impossible I must add, as it will push your profile number over 100%), your collection will be cleared by a staff member and you will be sent a private message (shows up in a little box on top of the site).
Custom Lists!! - You can now create your own list of "goals", "avatars I'm working on", or whatever you want. One example; instead of digging through the entire Need (Available) list for avatars that you want to focus on, you can tag them into your custom list and look there instead :P Please note that checking off an avatar to show up on your custom list is NOT equivalent as marking it down as "have". Don't use the custom list as a substitute to properly adding your avatars in as 'have'!
Sept. 9th - Wow, look at all the members! It has been officially one week since the Registration page was opened, and we currently have an incredible 670 active members of 882 registered ones - awesome! A big thanks to everyone who has been telling their friends and linking to us :)
The site is still in beta, but I plan to pull out of beta once I finish adding in a few last features and the site reaches 780 (Edit: Okay, I'm not done yet xD Up that to 850 or something kthx xD) active users. Think we can make it? ;)
I've received some emails from several mail servers that have blocked our IP from delivering mail, under the assumption that we are 'spam'. In such case, I will be replying to your queries using my hotmail.com address. If you are consistantly not receiving activation emails, etc, please contact me and let me know so I can address the problems.
If you created multiple accounts and did not activate them (and have no use of the extra accounts), please send me a message or deactivate them yourself so that I can remove those accounts and relist the database space for new users - thanks :)

Sept 5th: You can search avatars (and also sort and generate HTML for search results), and also remove your account now. A 'Link to Us' and 'Staff' page have also been added.
Don't forget... *drumroll* profiles!! Every registered user now has a profile which displays their Neopets user and avatars. All profiles are currently private to respect those who want to keep their avatar lists secret. If you don't mind people viewing your avatars, you can change your preference to "Public" on the preferences page and allow public visitors to view your av list :)
Sept 4th: Tweaked a small problem with password changes this morning: now they should work fine. If you are still having problems immediately after changing your password to something new, try logging out and re-logging in. I've also added a tagboard under "Other" where you can submit corrections to avatar data and comments about the site. Also added % gained to the indepth guides, and a most popular avatars list. The need list is now split into Available and Unavailable, and you can generate coding for petpages using the lists.
If you were having problems updating avatars due to the "Invalid Referrer" bug, you should be able to do so now - the bug has been fixed :)
Sept 3rd: Lost Password and Resend Activation pages are up, and you can also edit your email address now if you'd like. I've also tweaked the QuickFacts box so the toggle and logout links there will work in the proper windows :) PS. Go take a look at my art gallery if you are bored *grins angelically* Art.starried.net
Sept 2nd: Just finished adding in all the avatars, added a select all option, and also opened up the Registration page. Feel free to register and start checklisting your avatars!
